SUMMER NEUTRALS + THOUGHTS ON YOUTUBE

Hope you guys had a good weekend? I did a bit of shopping at Westfields in London, celebrated a friends birthday and posted a new video! The sun was out and I put together a neutral inspired outfit, I've really been into earthy tones lately - anything olive green or tan I'm all over it. Are you a fan of neutrals too?

Block heels are everywhere at the moment and I like how they're the perfect mix of casual chic, without looking too over dressed. This duffel bag is a new addition and would be ideal for my holiday soon. My sister recommended bringing a bum bag (or fanny pack as some of you guys call it!) but I can't bring myself to wear one of those on hols, haha.

I love putting videos together and sharing them on YouTube - editing has always been a passion of mine as you guys know. So having your support on my channel means a lot, so thank you!

I'm not going to lie, it's a bit scary putting yourself out there on a different platform. I've never experienced any negativity whilst blogging but I know I can't please everyone on YouTube - going by some of the dislikes on my videos! I know it's not a big deal, I've just been used to the super supportive community from blogging. It's not all bad as I've discovered so many great channels over the last few years and feel constantly inspired by other people's creativity. It's been a great experience so far and I really look forward to making more video :)

  2. You look lovely hun! :) love the outfit.
I've been meaning to ask you - what do you use to edit your videos? and what camera do you use? I could imagine how daunting it is putting yourself out there, but you're doing great so keep it up :)

  4. I'm not a big fan of putting myself in front of a camera, but I think that's quite normal when your passion is photography, so you're used to being behind it haha ;) I am putting the video on my to do list for tomorrow! I only need to sleep first, but I'm very curious to see it. I already love the photo! X

  5. Hey Hanh, it is always nerve racking, but I think you don't have to worry about cyber bullying type of response for now, because I notice that it is usually targeted towards people who are fairly popular. Also there are many youtubers who claims that they rarely get negative response, so I think you can be one of them. I love the editing by the way!

  6. I love that duffel bag, so pretty and you're right about not being able to bring yourself to wear a fanny pack on hols, I couldn't do it either haha. I can imagine how scary youtube must be in terms of getting negative feedback, I really hope you continue to do well and you ignore any negativity. It's really just people who are unhappy with themselves sitting in front of a screen and giving abuse to try make themselves feel better isn't it (although that would personally make me feel awful) x

  12. That duffel is soooo beautiful girl! I can tell you for nothing that the dislikes on your video are trolls - it was a great video babe! People only target people their jealous of, otherwise why would they bother at all. Keep it up, I bloody LOVED it sister.

  24. Ah fantastic! I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to youtube and uploads.. I try to upload a video on YT the other day, but the quality was really bad. I recorded in HD, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Help! :)

  25. Oh that's weird, I do know when you first upload a video it takes a little whiile to process to the full HD quality! Did you export it full res from imovie? Email me if you want to chat for longer :) Hanhabelle@gmail.com

  26. I think your videos are lovely. I like how this one was short, to the point, but still great quality and good editing. I'm thinking about taking the jump to Youtube, and I'm more nervous about finding the right equipment more than anything lol.

  28. Ah, the dislikes. Yup. As long as its at or under 10% compared to the likes, I'm not too bothered... and funnily enough I notice the dislikes are always from my earliest viewers, sometimes as soon as 20 minutes within publishing, so what does that tell ya? They're some of my most devoted viewers lol, just waiting for my next video haha! Haters = fans :)

  29. I love those heels! So classic and pretty. I want some black ones for myself! And YUM PHO!!!

Ah I love making youtube videos, it's really fun editing, I agree! But it takes quite some time and I really just don't have the time or energy to make regular vids anymore so I stopped. Now I just focus on blogging :)
